HONOLULU, HI (June 10, 2008)

Castle & Cooke Aviation announced today that it has opened its new Fixed Base Operation (FBO) at Honolulu International Airport (HNL) today. Castle & Cooke Aviation acquired the former Circle Rainbow building at HNL and invested over $5 million to renovate the aviation lobby, hangar and office space into a world class FBO. Castle’s new FBO is the premier general aviation FBO in Hawaii, with an elegantly appointed customer service lounge, 18,000 square foot hangar and 60,000 square feet of Class A office space. The FBO is located on Lagoon Drive with convenient access to HNL and downtown Honolulu.

Earlier today, following a traditional Hawaiian blessing of the facility conducted by Kahu Kordell Kekoa, Castle & Cooke Aviation’s FBO officially opened for business. Aviation professionals at Castle & Cooke Aviation will provide customers at HNL a full compliment of top quality line services, jet aircraft fuel and first class pilot amenities.

Castle & Cooke Aviation brings over 27 years of aviation experience and fuel delivery services to the growing Hawaii general aviation community. Van Nuys Airport is the busiest general aviation airport in the United States. In addition, Castle & Cooke Aviation operates a full service FBO at Paine Field located in Everett, Washington.

In conjunction with the Department of Transportation, Castle & Cooke is also busy expanding the general aviation ramp on the Island of Lana’i and will offer Jet A and Avgas fuel service later this year.

“Our aviation team is opening another world class FBO to serve the Hawaii market. We now have the most stunning building on the airport and are well on our way to fulfilling our mission of serving general aviation in Hawaii”, said Steven C.
